Capricorn daily horoscope · 12 October 2026
How the sky reads for Capricorn: the computed positions and dates first, then the reading.
The reading
Today leans toward useful conversations with friends or colleagues, while tact and patience may help keep shared plans on track.
Relationships: A message or conversation about a group plan could bring feelings to the surface; a calmer exchange later in the day may help you say what you mean without turning it into a contest.
Work: Your public role and longer-term aims may benefit from a generous, confident approach. It could suit you to share one clear idea or give a colleague credit, while keeping your next step practical.
The Sun sextile Jupiter, 2.4° apart (a sextile is a 60° angle that can offer an opening), links your 10th house of work and public role with your 8th house of shared matters. In solar houses, Capricorn is counted as the 1st house. The Moon in your 11th house of friends and shared goals squares Mars in your 8th, 2.7° apart and separating, then moves toward Mercury there, 3.3° apart and applying; the Moon’s position changes quickly, so the timing of this conversational emphasis may shift during the day.

How to read it
What a Sun-sign horoscope is, and is not
- General: it reads the sky the same way for everyone born under Capricorn.
- It is not about you in particular. It does not know your birth time, rising sign or Moon sign.
- It describes what the sky is doing. It does not predict events and gives no health, money or legal advice.
How houses and days are counted
It uses solar houses: Capricorn itself is the 1st house, the next sign the 2nd, and so on. This is a convention for Sun-sign readings; it is not your house system.
Which day counts as today follows your device’s time zone; until it is known, UTC. Positions are computed for 12:00 UTC of the day shown, and event times are UTC.
Your own chart says more
A Sun-sign horoscope cannot know your rising sign, your Moon or your houses. Calculate them from your birth data, then read the sky against your own chart.
